LESSON PROGRAM

With structured semesters offered throughout the year, SJD offers lessons to all levels of riders. Riders have the option of riding one to three times a week between Group Lessons and Practice Rides.
Spring sessions starts March 21st 2023





1-2-3 pROGRAM

 The 1-2-3 Program covers horse safety, leading, horse behaviour, grooming, introduction to riding and correct use of aids. It includes three 60 minute sessions that run over three weeks for $165.00 + HST.

CONSULTATION & TOUR

The Rider Consultation is free and includes a tour of the facilities with one of our instructors and a rider consultation.

INFORMATION SESSIONS

For those looking to continue their learning, SJD offers information sessions on a variety of topics.

TOT TO TROT

T2T allows children age 3 to 6 to be introduced to horses, riding and the farm setting in a safe and fun weekly lesson. T2T is 6 hour long weekly sessions and cost $240.00 + HST.

PACE Sessions

The Progress and Capabilities Evaluation (PACE) gauge the progress and capabilities of new and continuing riders. It is open to new riders wishing to join the SJD Equestrian lesson program or those currently in the lesson program seeking to monitor their progress or review which lesson group they should be enrolled.
