Currently, all of our staff have their own horses at SJD Equestrian and may be at the barn outside of their working hours. We ask that you respect all staff at all times, but please be considerate of when they are not working and at the barn as a customer also. We will list the head staff member each morning on the whiteboard by the center tack room to eliminate confusion. After hour concerns may be directed to Susan. If she is not in the barn, please call (705) - 794 - 0788.EMERGENCY NUMBERS ARE IN THE MAIN TACK ROOM.
A reminder that all blankets, bandages and equipment should be properly and visibly labeled. The stable is not responsible for these items. If your horse is wrapped overnight, please leave a bag on their stall door for wraps to be returned. Grooming areas, including the wash stalls, must be swept/raked and tidied before you enter the arena and after you have completed your visit.
Please join the SJD Equestrian Private group on Facebook to follow for updates and notifications.
Signing up for group lessons?
Please take note:
You are responsible to attend all of your lessons. Your instructors plan each lesson by building your skill set from lesson to lesson.
The reason we don’t add newcomers in during your series is because we do not want to hold you back while re -explaining what has been taught previously.
It is not fair to your group if we cannot move forward.
You are expected to practice in between lessons.
Unable to do this? Look at arranging private lessons.
Thank you.
